Our Pro-Life "Business Plan and Marketing Strategy"
There are so many important issues we face as Catholic Christians. It can be overwhelming. However, let me focus on the single most important human rights issue of our day, Abortion, the intentional killing of children in the womb. Without the right to life there are no other rights. Without the freedom to be born there are no other freedoms.
In the 32 years since Roe v Wade - and over 46 million abortions in the US alone - we must face the horrible truth. Abortion is still legal in ALL 50 US States. Moreover, there is an abortive procedure every few seconds. This is the taking of an innocent human life. We all know it and yet it continues. End of story.
There have been many wonderful groups and organizations that have helped to raise awareness of this evil called abortion. They have educated and mobilized people. However, abortion continues to be protected and promoted with the full force of law. This evil U.S. Supreme Court decision called what is always and everywhere wrong a "right"; it made abortion "legal" for any reason and at any time during a woman's pregnancy.
It also launched a hugely profitable industry.
Abortion is Big Business
The abortion industry continues to thrive, the largest unregulated business in the United States. The monster named Planned Parenthood and the "doctors" involved in this modern day genocide are making tens of millions of dollars of profit. They have effectively implemented their own business model, funding the "Culture of Death"; and their profits are increasing every day. The fact is the American people are beginning to turn against abortion. Because of this, Pro-abortion crusaders now try to make "parade of horribles" arguments, citing instances of rape and incest in their defense of abortion. However, only 2% of the 1.5 million abortions committed in the US every year are procured for reasons other than mere convenience.

The motivation for abortion is personal convenience, birth control, expedience, and ... profit.
With this in mind we must ask some questions. What have we learned? What have many sincere pro-life efforts accomplished? We must face the Truth.
Let's be really honest - with ourselves and with God. The proponents of the so-called "right to choose" have won the most important of contemporary battles. They have won the battle to "legalize" their culture of death, because they have waged their war more effectively by joining forces, focusing their efforts and following a 'business model'. We must learn to do the same.

It is time for solutions. The real solution is the unified implementation of an effective Business Plan and Marketing Strategy in support of ending legal abortion and building a culture of life. Building on a Solid Foundation
I am convinced that "anti" campaigning does NOT work. We need to propose another way for this Nation; to speak and to act more positively. Our message concerning the dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death, is the truth. We need to speak our message concerning this vital issue with a new language. We need to propose a new culture of life and not simply oppose abortion. We need to challenge the language of "choice", by insisting that some "choices" are always wrong, like killing children in the womb. We must offer another way and develop the language of the new culture of life. We must speak with a unified voice that will not be denied. We also need an effective business model with strategic objectives and specific goals and purpose.

1) Ultrasound technology
CareNet and HeartBeat International are two organizations that are doing a great job in the Crisis Pregnancy effort. Part of what they do is to offer Ultrasound technology to expectant mothers and fathers. It shows them "baby's first picture" and the results are amazing.
We need to support this technology and make it available widely. Such new technology is a great ally in our effort to present the truth; every abortion is the taking of an innocent human life. This takes hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding and we need your Help Now to implement this action.
2) A Massive Database
We are now compiling the largest database in the world for this vital purpose. We are also developing an effective business plan to use this data to reach the objective. We intend to use it to accomplish the goal of ending legal abortion and building a new culture of life. For the first time since Roe vs. Wade we now have a "Business Plan and Marketing Strategy" to end Abortion.
3) Unity in Action
We will go out to every Catholic Diocese, Parish, School, Pro-life and Pro-Family organization and present a model for building an alliance, a framework that will enable us to act together in unity. This principle in the business world is called "leverage". It is through our unified effective action that, together, we can attain the objective to which we are all committed. The Pro-life position is shared by all who share classical, orthodox, Christian faith. That is why the pro-life cause is the greatest example of authentic ecumenism in this hour. Depriving innocent people of life; babies, children, adults, is not just a Catholic issue, in fact, it is not simply a Christian issue or even a religious one; it is a human rights issue. It is wrong to take innocent human life, at every age and stage. We have come together to expose and oppose the culture of death and its lies. Now we must come together to build the new "Culture of Life".
This will strengthen our ability to effect change, yet it can also allow every person to maintain their identity and every organization to maintain their organizational and business autonomy. It is though coordinated action and using an effective business methodology that we will ultimately affect the change we must achieve. We should learn a lesson from the foes we are facing and approach the objective from a business perspective; defining objectives and addressing them strategically and methodically.
